Dundonald Links is located at the very heart of Ayrshire’s golf coast near Open venues Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry, just 10 minutes from Prestwick Airport and half an hour from Glasgow.

The views, the quality of this course surely make it a must play on the top quality linksland to the East of Scotland.

Service and style are all the hallmarks of Dundonald and the food is great value and fairly tasty as well.

 Its coastal setting and fabulous condition makes it ideal for summer and winter golf in Scotland. With Views across the sea to the Arran islands this is seriously good golf. The problem I have with the Dundonald is that I am a big fan of Kyle Phillips who designed the course so I have to admit I am slightly biased. However having played the course several times I can safely safe its a great test of golf and a place which makes me return time and time again. The greens are always good and the welcome is better.

Golfers will marvel at the way Colin Montgomerie and his team have shaped this course with sensitivity to provide not only a fair test of golf, but also a haven for local flora and fauna. Players will negotiate winding streams, impressive mature woodlands, and even a Bronze Age settlement. This is prime golfing real estate with standards we all would enjoy.Uniquely, Rowallan Castle also boasts a 19th hole… “The Money Hole”. This testing long par 3 is where serious golfers will settle their bets before enjoying a well deserved refreshment in the other 19th.

Excellent local accomodation is available close to either of the courses to a minimum of 3 stars.

Currently this stay and play option is available with a £100 discount when a minimum booking of 6 golfers is submitted.
