  • Main House - 14 ensuite bedrooms and ample communal areas such as Ballroom, Garden Room, Bar, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, News Room, Massage and Therapy Rooms etc
  • Stone Cottage - 4 ensuite bedrooms, Living Room and private fenced garden.
  • Coach House - 4 ensuite bedrooms.

The renaissance style Ballroom seats 40+ people for stylish sit-down dining or up to 96 people in our Garden Room.

 The beautiful south-facing aspect includes an outdoor entertainment patio and croquet lawn can also be used for alfresco dining only limited by your imagination - barbecues, buffets, garden parties or picnics.

Ballinacurra House Kinsale recently won the best "Exclusive Wedding Venue of the Year Award" in the annual Weddings Online Awards 2013 - Ireland's Largest wedding website.  The Weddings Online award comes as we celebrate 10 years in business and coincides with the country's other top site - "One Fab Day" also nominating Ballinacurra House as one of Ireland's Top 100 Wedding Venues - describing the venue as "an oasis of complete privacy, with each room individually designed and decorated in fantastical fashion with a surprise around every corner".

Current Head Chef at Ballinacurra House, David Rice, won the prestigious Best Chef in Limerick at the Restaurant Association of Ireland Awards 2010.  He won whilst at the Mustard Seed Lodge and Restaurant in Adare, Co Limerick.

Ballinacurra House Kinsale, was voted "Best Exclusive Hire Property" at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) in Cannes this month by the prestigious Luxury Travel Magazine , beating out stiff competition from Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Caribbean and Dhoni Mighili resort in The Madives.

Ballinacurra House was the only nominee from Europe to have reached through to the final shortlist, alongside Virgin magnate Richard Branson’s property and the Maldives resort and was crowned overall winner in the face of their longer established and more high profile competition.

Visitors are captivated by the town's setting, its long waterfront, narrow streets and slate-clad houses. Kinsale was the site of a battle in 1601 that was a turning point in Irish history. For over 300 years it was a garrison town and port of consequence, leaving a legacy of Georgian and Victorian architecture.

Kinsale is a top class centre for sailing and watersports activities, as well as many land-based activities.  It is a top class centre for many activities including sailing, yachting, deep sea fishing, diving, watersports, windsurfing, horseriding and golf.  There are three golf courses including the world-famous Old Head course.

The Old Head Golf Course of Kinsale - One of the most notable world-class golf courses in the world  (20 minutes by car).

Cork Golf Club (40 minutes by car) is a private club which will allow a small number of visitors to play each day. It was designed by Allister McKenzie, the designer of the Augusta Master’s course.

Fota Island Golf Club  ((photo) was home to the 2001 and 2002 Murphy’s Irish Open, joining the august company of Ballybunion, Portmarnock, Druids Glen, Killarney and Mount Juliet as an Irish Open venue. It is very much a traditional course and is maintained to the very highest of standards to ensure year round golfing enjoyment.

Farrangalway, Kinsale (5 minutes) This is the local golf course which is home to the Kinsale Golf Club, which is a relatively new 18-hole parkland course.
Ringenane, Kinsale (5 minutes) This was the original Kinsale Golf Club course and is a 9-hole course. It is suited to the novice and intermediate alike with some interesting hilly holes and stunning views of the estuary.
